Title: Pesach Puzzle match the question to the son

Author: JEN Michael Gluckman

Age Group: 7-11

Format: Lesson Plan

Categories: Bible Stories, Pesach, written Torah

Description:  This lesson introduces the students to critical thinking within the text.  They will examine text in English and then have to attribute it to one of the four sons in the Hagaddah.  This reinforces the idea that there are many ways of understanding our tradition and that each is equally valid.  Everyone can access the text and everyone has the ability to question and to learn more and more.

Authors: Laura Notowitz and Alison Hurwitz

Age Group: 11-14

Format: LessonPlan

Description: This is a great way to introduce the Hagaddah.  It is meaningful in that it engages the student in the importance of storytelling and encourages the class to think about what they like in a story and in a lesson and to make the connection between story-telling and learning.
